personally nah

while GS has maintained success by going deep into the tax I feel like the team being built from the ground up the way it was is different than if they just got free agents come there and didn’t care about the salaries

not every owner wants to spend like this either because it doesn’t guarantee a championship

atleast the warriors won before they even got Durant so it was easier to spend to maintain their status because the foundation was already set

then in 2022 it’s easier to go into the tax because they already have went into it and team popularity and merch sales are through the roof

GS paid a larger tax last season than the entire NBA did combined like 20 or so years ago which is crazy

Yeah we should be taxed less since all of our contracts save for Wiggins were drafted in-house. But alas.

This is a change that should happen. Don't penalize teams for keeping the players they were right about when drafting.
