I might wanna push back on this with Hayward, plumlee and Rozier but it’s not a worthy enough hill as trae doesn’t have to deal with 5-6 guys on the roster who are dead weight guys who just got drafted recently like him

Rozier has been pretty good but Hayward is always hurt and signing him was a huge mistake from the beginning....Plumlee just sucks

Hornets making it way harder than it has to be to construct a team that compliments his skill set/strengths and hides his weaknesses

The Miles Bridges thing really fucked them over also

Word I didn’t bring up hayward being always hurt because I was only looking at the effort of bringing him there

miles bridges to Lamelo is what John Collins has been to trae so that’s valid

but fuck that

Fix the fucking roster guys

if Gordon would’ve stayed healthy he could’ve really helped that team, but the guy can’t.

everything else I 100% agree about though. They gotta build around him correctly because he has proven to be pretty good so far.

Hayward been free of criticism for years now, always seem to get conveniently 'ignored' when it comes to conversations. Kyrie got more flak in Boston than Gordon then and they were both supposed to be equally important on those rosters at the time

Don’t wanna shoot Hayward bail but when you get injured for the year in your first few mins of playing for your new team then come back next year off the bench it’s kinda hard to compare the two.

Fun fact: Hayward also had the most efficient season of his career in year 3 for Boston.

I think be could've helped them but I hated the contract and what it did to their cap space.....30 mil a year for someone who can't stay on the court and they had to waive and stretch Batums contract to make that happen
