Looking at the options, Poole at least hung in there on D against the non-Tatum matchups. He looked like a stationary cone whenever he had to check Jayson though. Keep him far, far away from that matchup.

If GP can't go for large stints yet, I think Moody might be our best shot off the bench. But Kerr gonna be extra reluctant to throw a 20-year old out there so I don't know. Staying big though doesn't seem like the right move if we gonna keep getting our shit packed by the Timelord.

Lol people said we won’t shoot this well against Brooklyn, Milwaukee and Miami keep this energy going

Shooting isn't what won you any of those series. Not sure why you're taking that personal anyway it wasn't a shot.

Celtics did their thing and took care of business.

With that said, i dont think Celtics win the series if they let gsw average 108 for the series.

Celtics did good to win game 1, but they need to turn the rest of the series into a grind fest

I don't know.

As long as the Celtics are able to play spurts of meaningful defense in the midst of the shooting fest and the Warriors can't, I think the Celtics can win regardless of where the scores end up.

I honestly don't think the offense is the key for either team. They both had periods of lights out shooting and periods where they couldn't hit anything. The difference was that when the Warriors made their runs, they were crashing the boards and getting a bunch of second chance opportunities, whereas the Celtics sustained their runs by getting turnovers and forcing the Warriors into bad shots.

Celtics havent been able to score consistently all year and especially in the playoffs.

They won this game off Horford and White both hitting a career high in 3s.

The Celtics defense is better, but the warriors have had an elite defense when healthy and all playoffs long.

Nothing the Celtics showed me all year + playoffs leads me to believe they can win a series in which they need to score 110 points.

But if they turn this into a slow grind fest, play physical, and keep scores under 100, they can win.

We had multiple games in each series where we shot a good 3 point percentage, everyone except for smart and white have been hitting their 3’s at a high rate on high volume

Bruh yall were like 9 of 12 or something like that in the 4th. Horford was 6-8 for the game. Neither of those things are happening again. That's not hate it's a fact.

Lol nah man the thing that y’all are sleeping on is we don’t HAVE to have slow down the pace. We scored 120 in our last regular season matchup with them as well. They don’t play defense like Miami or the bucks. We put up 120 with our best player having 3 field goals, we can play at another level as well

They squandered the worst game Tatum will play this series. We’ve shot over 50% in multiple games this playoffs from 3. The 9-12 might be an anomaly but we’ve shot from 3 well in ALL the series so saying “that won’t happen again” is falling on deaf ears lls

No doubt. There is nothing stopping this from happening.

But when I give analysis, I base my analysis on what I seen, and I seen yall go through too many offensive droughts.

I didnt say yall cant win btw, just saying I trust yall chances more if yall can grind it down and keep the scores in the 90s

You might be right, but let's not act like Horford hit a career high in 3s because he was lucky. Dude was open a lot. That was because GSW's defense couldn't matchup that well with BOS's offense. I agree with you that a scoring fest favors GSW, but in a game of streaks like we saw yesterday, BOS just has to have the longer streaks and superior defense can help ensure that.

My pick looking good and I’m seeing the excuses for the warriors fly.

Lmaooo, idc how open Horford was.

Damn near 15 year career, and this is his career high in any game.

Facts warriors left him open.

Also facts its a career high for a reason and wont happen again anytime soon.

On another note, I don't want to hear anything else about Klay Thompson being a Top 75 all time player.

We'll see. I picket BOS because I believe they play real defense (i.e., the kind that can work in or outside of the current era) and that will be problematic for GSW. I'm going to stand on that.

Bout time SOMEBODY said this shit.

I'm tired of hearing him and his sycophants bitch about being left off that list. He's not even Top 80-85.

Only players that should have a real beef about getting snubbed are Dwight Howard, Dikembe Mutumbo, and Bernard King.

Boston won with their small ball lineups and that can't be the case going forward. I think a lot of guys played above their station. Bringing them down to earth on the offensive end will go a long way towards dicating how the game is played.

Otto was my X-factor before the series and that remains true after game 1. If he can help drag a their bigs out of the lane with his shooting then that'll soften their defense up enough to get loose.

I expect Beli to get a shot against Timelord-centered lineups for the same reason.
