Yea that's crazy. If you drafted in the top 10, you should have a roster spot at the start of the season. If you fuck up during season that's on you, but to have players get cut 2 weeks after being drafted is crazy.
And the problem is only gonna get worse as these up and coming players in hs and college get better.

It's a cap space issue. And just a space issue overall. Not that many teams in the league so not a lot of wiggle room for new players no matter how good they are.
A bunch of the ones that got waived before the season are gonna end up getting brought back by another team at some point during the season.
