The Official MCU Thread

I have been watching The Gifted

Then writers of that show are doing an excellent job at pulling what was so compelling about the x men comics. The struggle between humans and mutants.

I want Cameron Hodge and Genosha in season two, explain where all the mutants went and then have them try stage an invasion/hostile takeover. The power dampening collars and the Hounds program seem to be mixing in X-Tinction Agenda and Days Of Future Past.

Im excited for Cap Marvel, mainly because i know nothing about the character so It will be cool to learn a bit about her.

That's most marvel movies less maybe Dr.Strange. Character development kinda makes the first movies meh

Yeah i've noticed that. A lot of the sequels in the franchise seem to definitely be better than their origin film. Definitely Cap and Thor at least. Will be interesting to see how Doctor Strange's sequel will turn out. It doesnt even have a production start date though, but i hope Cumberbatch sticks around after Infinity War. Strange is a dope character to have around and definitely one of my favorite characters in the mix at the moment. I dont know much about his comic history either, so its cool being able to see what he can do on film. Makes me want to check out some Volumes of his comics.

Only folks who i think had a better origin than sequels is Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Also they are saying that Infinity War will deal with Time Travel. Can see behind the scenes pics of Cap in his original uniform from the first avenger. Wonder if they will do a soft reboot after infinity war and possibly recast the core avengers members since they all seem to be leaving. Boseman, Cumberbatch, and Pratt need to stick around hopefully.

Rumors are that Guardians Volume 3 will feature a big team change though.

A WWE superstar is doing his part to make sure some amazing kids get a chance to see Black Panther on the big screen.

That superstar would be Thaddeus Bullard, who most will know as WWE superstar Titus O'Neil. The former defensive end and professional wrestler is excited to finally see a hero on the big screen that speaks to him and wants to give others a chance to see it too.

I’m
I’m 40 years old and I’ve never seen a Marvel character that looked like me, as an African-American male," Bullard told the Tampa Bay Times. "This will be the first time I’ve seen a superhero on screen that looks like me and I want kids to not only be able to see superheroes on the screen but also to view themselves as superheroes."

Bullard feels seeing that kind of example will only help them believe in themselves going forward.

If they see that on screen, then maybe they can be the next doctor or lawyer or president, whatever they can be," Bullard said. "This could be a great teaching moment if we can get them into theaters."

Bullard's efforts are just one part of the #BlackPantherChallenge, a movement that is raising money to help kids go see the movie. Bullard is focusing his efforts on lower-income families and those in Title I schools because "those kids don't get a lot of stuff."

So far the #BlackPantherChallenge has helped raise enough money to take 500 kids between the ages of 13 and 18 to go see the film in Tampa, Brandon, and Wesley Chapel. AMC has also waived the $500 fee to rent those theaters as part of the challenge, and a GoFundMe is trying to send more children to see it across the bay area.

So far that GoFundMe has already hit it's $2,500 goal and is closing in on $3000.

Critics have good things to say so far about Black Panther, which currently holds a 4.17 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings. That puts it in the #2 slot, and you can submit your own score here.

That’s nice of him to take the kids. On Rusev Day no less too!!!
