So is there any chance a team would still offer Demarcus Cousins a max contract after this achilles heal injury? He would of had 5+ potential max offers at the end of the season before this week:
1- Dallas (Dirk has 1 year before he is out),
2-Atlanta (they need his scoring and rebounds),
3-Indiana (along w/ Olodipo they would be top 4 in the East),
4-New Orleans (to get AD to stay), &
5-The Lakers (if PG-13 or Lebron didnt sign with them)

And thats just the teams that have the cap room for him now. I am sure other teams would/could have made it (Celtics w/ a Horford for draft picks trade, thunder if PG leaves, Cavs if Lebron leaves). Even the Bulls would want him, although it looks like they are trying to build their team from low number draft picks like Philly

The Pels the only one that can give him 5 years. So no one can match the money or years New Orleans can give him. None of those teams have what the Pels have outside of Indiana. The injury, the familiarity, the money and the years and ultimately AD will keep him in New Orleans.

I would not be mad if he left with Bron though. If you gon chase, Do it now.

You think the Pels will still offer him a max contract, it would be a good time to low ball him. 5/yr $120mil

Low balling him may send him somewhere else. Right now he will not be the same or two years. Listen to the market and see what people are offering. At the same time keep building through the draft and find a way to get rid of Asik and Ajinca contract.

Edit: Yeah I change my mind. Give him a good contract but no max deal.

OKC has been looking much better last few times I watched them.

They not there yet but Westbrook looks more comfortable, PG has found some rhythm, and Melo has been holding the ball much less.

Melo still has times when hes over dribbling, and Westbrook still has times when hes out of control, but they looking like they making progress.
