The owners are going to do whatever benefits their bottom line. Potentially losing money on the gates and further alienating markets like China are not the moves they want to make. And with a new tv deal coming in they will have to make assurances a lockout won't happen.

They simply can't do what they've done in the past anymore.

where I agree with you is for sure the NBA owners are going to try and change some things in the CBA and will definitely get some items changed because it’s still a good amount (not as many as the NFL because it’s more players all around) of players that are living pay check to pay check. Not too mention it’s too many grumblings of owners not liking the way players are being able to force their way out of places with years still left on deals.

Folks who keep saying the players have a ton of leverage (which they do to an extent) keep forgetting that the B.R.I. Basketball related income cut has went down in favor of the owners the last few times they have tweaked the CBA. It used to be in higher favor for the players but now it’s 50/50.

The BRI has went down but the salaries keep going up. The massive tv deals have inflated the numbers for the owners. The players aren't losing. Everyone is just winning.

Like I said earlier I agree with you for the most part. But I'm not going to act like the owners don't have any leverage against the players to get things to go more in their favor if those chose go that route is all I'm saying.
 
My guess is the BRI goes down again and there will be updated language for player conduct proposed by the league. If players trying to figure out ways to not play games what's the point of paying them even more? I'm not saying it'll pass in negotiations but it will be mentioned

I used to think that but folks don't realize how throwed off his parents is. They on some fuck science/medicals shit. I can definitely see them ruining his career soon if he continues to follow them.

Lol the bri will go down again but the salaries will balloon. Not sure why you guys keep mentioning this. Owners supposed to make a return on their investment. That's business.

Oh I'm not speaking to that... That's the only thing I've heard or rather read that was an actual situation

Everything that has been said about his step father has never been confirmed which I thought was weird cause it's obvious something is going on with his influence on Zion.
