i some what agree with your point.
the best thing the NBA players have going for them is it’s not as many players in the league like the NFL. With that being the case, it’s a little bit harder to separate the “have’s and the Have not’s”
where I agree with you is for sure the NBA owners are going to try and change some things in the CBA and will definitely get some items changed because it’s still a good amount (not as many as the NFL because it’s more players all around) of players that are living pay check to pay check. Not too mention it’s too many grumblings of owners not liking the way players are being able to force their way out of places with years still left on deals.
Folks who keep saying the players have a ton of leverage (which they do to an extent) keep forgetting that the B.R.I. Basketball related income cut has went down in favor of the owners the last few times they have tweaked the CBA. It used to be in higher favor for the players but now it’s 50/50.
