Today's word, too easy

Man, I completely botched today. I had the word at like 3 and second guessed myself because there were what I thought were better alternatives. That said, I'm convinced you can pretty much guarantee that you'll always get the word in 6 as long as you're careful to maximize use of common letter with your words. There have been a couple times where I basically wasted turns because I was short on time and knew that would help me get the word.

That's my strategy too. I start with STAIR, it knocks out a shit ton of words with very common letters. Playing the wordle app I can guess the word usually in 3-4 guesses. Im only on like level 30 or something so could just be easy levels hahaha. Also the app game doesn't appear to use double letter words. Or again its cuz I just started playing.
 
Failed this one. I was trying too many strategies. The first 3 guesses, I was trying to get the 2 letters in the right place. The next two guesses, I was trying to eliminate letters.

I gave up on the last word because I was spending too much time on this game then I was on work, lol. I knew that wasnt the word because I had already guessed wrong for the placement of the "a".

Funny enough, I start with STARE, lol. Then the next word I try to use whatever I matched and throw in as many other vowels as possible into that word.
