Is it really like that tho. I mean I thought overall Southern Cali was mostly Latin. Is it the gangs pushing people off turf or is it about numbers I’m thinking maybe black folks are moving out of LA cuz of the cost of living.

Black people have been moving out of the greater Los Angeles area and moving to the Antelope Valley and Inland Empire since the 90s. And Hispanics have been more than happy to move right into those vacated properties.

Ok…. I’m just saying it ain’t like they ain’t got family they living with somebody. The way for black people to get more power we gotta not be so spread out but also we stick to mostly urban areas. I get all y’all hate the South but that where the majority of us are at. I think like reverse great migration towards regions with large black populations would help us out. Of course convincing somebody to move from Philly to Bama would take some work. But I feel like that what Latinos gonna do in the Southwest. We should do it in the Southeast

Yup I remember hearing about blacks moving to Inland Empire for awhile. I’m not fully with the narrative that Mexicans are just kicking us out. Or that the Mexican Mafia is just bitching every other gang in the city(not saying they not a powerful force)

on Another note tho do people in LA feel weird about folks stereotyping LA the way we do. Like folks be having whole YouTube docs on gang banging that they heard second hand info from and it’s kinda weird to me

The only people pushing that BS narrative are online weirdos. The AV and IE are a lot cheaper and used to be a lot safer. That's why black folks headed out that way in droves.

I’m saying though as we all seen the cost of living went up without wages. I hear you but we gotta whole thread on gentrification and a lot of y’all was like niggas just gotta work harder. Plus it plenty traditional black areas all over. And it’s numbers too. White folks being majority can have political power everywhere. I ain’t saying just flee Compton or NY but cheap land in the south.
