And that point about a solution that includes keeping registration open is my main point. If it was about the discussion forums it would be easy to just close registrations and let the existing posters post freely. So that tells me gaining new users, most of which come for the porn, is the objective and not the discussions.

I’m just pointing it out though, I’m not hating on what the owner wants to do. We all have the choice to stay or leave. Owner should take the bitching as a compliment though because it means people really care about the site.

so putting the bulk of the work on AP or Whis or whoever else, isnt going to bode well either.

Even that thread hasn't had problems outside of that thread publicly. Lots of them have stayed in that thread and never ventured out. Fightback had a tantrum after getting banned temporarily and is being a bitch about it now. If his dumbass just took the temporary ban then he could have been back and none of this happen

You dont even have to register to view the smut section tho. I would think there would still be clicks/impressions and money generated from ads and traffic if the people were still visiting the candy shop without being registered as a member. So unless the existing members that are keeping that section active just stop altogether, id be surprised if there was actually a dip in profits from ads.

All speculation though. Hopefully this all gets sorted eventually and everyone(or at least the majority of people here) are happy

The entire candy shop was not a good place. It literally attracted the wrong type of folks. Just because something wasn’t a problem doesn’t mean they didn’t have the potential to grow into one.

Folks sign up just for that part of the ABW and that shit is weird.

tbh the solutions proposed are good and have been brought up mad times. the porn sections can go in my opinion but im not running this site and I have no clue how much money is being made on the backend, just a general idea so i cant tell Goldie how to run HIS site.

I stated what i think should happen. Hopefully its resolved before the new year
