LOL, no probs. Yeah it's being staked. Best decision was getting it all out of Coinbase into a staking pool

Yeah that's what I did. My thing was just wanting to get to a point where I reclaimed my initial investment. I'm almost there. When I get there, I don't really care anymore, I can wait things playout how they playout. I ain't trying to make a million dollars. A little come-up will be good enough.

Yall think it would make sense to do recoup the initial investment PLUS the tax you're gonna pay on it for short term capital gains?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't pay any capital gains on the recoup right? Don't the taxes kick in when you pull out an amount above that initial investment?

I'm not sure.. all the tax stuff is about as clear as mud to me at the moment
