There was a brand called "Skids" that were basically Hammer pants without being shiny.

I went to a club up north near Bay City, Mi back around '91/92 and half the dudes were in 'em trying their best to dance like Hammer. After the fad came and went, hardcore bodybuilders wore 'em 'cause they were the only pants they could fit in.
