Stuff like this seems worse or more unbelievable when it happens not far from us. Like it's our backyard. I listen to crime pods right, but too many from my own county all the time wigs my mind out like these crazies are all over the place so I switch to a crimes from other countries cuz they're far away and less of a threat ☹ I know it's stupid but it's what our minds do when constantly filled with the same thing, that's all it has to think about.

Yea it’s literally like 6 mins from me. I got the alert on my phone and everything. I think it seems worse because it could possibly be someone you know.

Omgosh!!! That is literally your back yard, my bad for the analogy. Idk what I would do if it actually turned out to be a coworker or something. Didn't even consider that until you mentioned it. A lot of coworkers like 10min or less from me. Does the energy in the area feel different? I think stuff like that leaves impressions where they happen.

You’re good. It doesn’t for me because I’m not an involved neighbor or citizen. On our neighborhood app, it’s a huge discussion going on about it.

Yea it’s called Nextdoor. It’s an app a lot of folks use out here. It shows you what’s going on in your neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods

Unless they live in the immediate neighborhoods, no. Only people I may see from fb are people who may live in my neighborhood or a few neighborhoods over. But that’s like 4 people. One dude lives three streets away from that I went to school with. We cool though, so I ain’t tripping. The other three live in close neighborhoods
