UEFA Euro 2020 & CONMEBOL Copa America 2021 Thread (Argentina: Copa America Champs & Italy: Euro Champs)

Gary Neville just went in on Boris on SkySportNews, about Boris's views and comments etc he spoke some truths on how all that trickles down to the fans and the nation, like a kid repeating what their parents say...

TBH seeing all the hate online and in the street just shows the state of society, just pure filth... Just scum bags...

What have all these cunts done to improve the world??? Absolutely fck all...

I can imagine part of the reason players miss penalties is because they are thinking 'Fck if I miss this Im gonna get slaughtered on social media'...

Imagine missing a penalty in a Euro final??? Thats bad enough, then having to be abused by millions of people...

On reflection, the players done amazing this tourney, yeah its disappointing but we got to a final...

I'll give props to Gary Neville in that he's called out the government more than once. It's true in that the views of the government trickle down, but then the public voted in these racist cunts, so who is at fault: the government and their bigoted ways or the people who are happy to put them in power? Is society reflective of the government or is the government reflective of the society? As far as I'm concerned, you get the world you deserve.

England had a wicked run, but now the honeymoon's over and the dream has come crashing down you see this country's true colours.

I just tried to find the Neville interview online but cant find it yet... Though it seems he's being making the rounds this morning, just seen he said a similar thing to another news channel earlier...

No doubt, it gives a voice to the racists and enables them to be bold... Its like the Trump effect in America... Abit off topic but seeing the England fans storm Wembley this morning looks like them man storming The Capitol building...

Society is always gonna have racists and bigots etc its just a fact of life but its making sure they arnt given given a voice to spread hate, let them feel that they are right and encouraged to carry on their actions our 'leaders'... Because when kids see elders booing the knee or racially abusing players etc if their parents say sh!t like, 'look the PM agrees' etc it gives their actions a kind of credibility to the kids watching...

@toheeb27 what's your view on Emerson he really stepped up when needed
He was solid. I have always liked Emerson and I don’t think he has been given a fair shot at Chelsea the past few years. Don’t think he is a world beater, but I think he is a good player to have on the squad.

Based on the things Tuchel has said about him in press conferences, I think he likes him too. If we somehow find a way to sell Alonso, I think Emerson stays.
