Quick Question….

Most of us with any intention to head to Uni after highschool had momentum built up. We're young and fresh with big dreams and long term goals backed up by a stimulated mind from hours of learning 5 days a week. When I dropped out of college at 24 I feel like I lost that momentum. fell into stagnation and complacency. I still dunno what I want to do with my life. What I do know is that I want that constant mental stimulation back. I know if I can inhabit that environment and mindset.again it'll inspire something in me.. help me rise above the leisurely bullshit I've been prioritizing.

Take a breather and get right to it. You deserve whatever you want out of life

Life is just a series of trying to determine what works best for you at that moment. Like you cant really fuck up what you have never experienced. Failure is not innately bad. When your learning how to walk and you keep falling , your parents dont yell at you " you a fuck up". IMO its the same thing as grown ass people. The perception of you should be great, happy and successful all the time is dangerous. Everyone is a unique complex bundle of thoughts they picked up along the way. Fuck-ups really help to unravel all that stuff that really isn't you.

No it’s the fuck not.

No it’s the fuck not.

why not? Every time you "fuck up" or whatever that is... you dont learn? Being a fuck up is different than insanity. this thread is about fucking up.. not doing the same shit over and over expecting a different turn of events. If you do something knowing it's something that you will regret or your not ready for consequences...um that's stupidity.

I disagree “Life is just a series of trying to determine what works best for you at that moment” because life don’t work that way.

Ok how does it work?

Let’s use this simple saying

“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”

me accepting that fish would would be amazing and be best for me at the moment because I’m hungry now

Teaching me how to fish will take numerous days and I may suffer or stress out a bit but I will then know how to catch my own fish and not depend on another.

Making the best choice for now is a terrible way to live life. That’s some “live fast die young” shit

This was simplest way I can put it. Shrugs.

I hear you but if you don't have the resources for a fishing pole, can't get to the pond to go fishing , you gonna starve? You gonna eat the 1 fish you got and figure it out as you go. Through the "fuck ups" you learn. You don't know if fishing is gonna work or not. It might be some climate change shit and now all the fish have died off.So you gotta figure out what works best for you in that moment And you might be like its easier to just eat some fruits and veggies and go vegan 😄. I get the metaphor though. But definitely path of least resistance for me.

Then you got Dos that come in like.....aye cuz, sell some of them fish, buy some land take some of that water and fish shit and grow some crops. Now you got fish, vegetables and fruit to sell to buy cows and pigs.

just how I think
