were yall REALLY taskmaster fans or yall just upset and shocked at the reveal that the top assassin....

in the movie about ALL WOMEN assassins.....turned out to be a woman. 😱

Meh. I thought the character woulda did some cooler shit overall but I honestly dont care that they made the character a woman *shrugs*

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it'll be the latter with most coming in to try and say that it's not that at all.

I'm huge Taskmaster fan and he plays a big part in Black Widow comics so him be a female and basically wack ass android pissed me off. I'm a comic book reader though so I might be a little too invested

My Girl was even pissed off that taskmaster was a woman and she women equality feminist. She said marvel needs balance and more men and seeing PC effects on things being more cringe and forced. The funny part about it though, is the more years into our relationship I'm becoming more of a feminist than her and she be telling me I be tripping LMAO. I had no problem with taskmaster being a woman, but I do understand comic book folks being pissed.

Me and my wife watched again this morning

Taskmaster got like 5 minutes of screen time and being a woman was irrelevant.

TM was basically just another bad guy if you ask me.


On rewatch 5/10.

This served better being a series and flushing out Taskmaster more.

It’s not back of the line in the MCU but it ain’t in the middle

I will cosign that I think this woulda been a better TV series and IMO I think this also served as a pilot for a series with Yelena becoming the new Widow like in the comics.

in addition to Natasha absolutely deserving a solo film.
 
I'm sure I'm not alone here but this movie or rather this project suffered the most cause of covid cause you can tell it just doesn't fit with the rest of the storylines. In other words, this should've come out before endgame. There was an entire year between infinity wars and endgame. They could've definitely sandwiched this in between so that her death in endgame meant more

I do agree they waited way too long to give her a solo film

imo she could have had at least two.

first could have been when she defected

and this could have been the second film

They always wanted this to release in theaters. You lose a shit ton of momentum having to wait a year plus to release a movie with this magnitude.

I don't have to see this to know that this should've been a series like others have already stated.

Why do I feel like you and I have been terribly off sync lately.

This didn't start filming until after Endgame came out I think
