I tend to agree with this, but I still say my city. Like I’d say, I’m from Shelby, NC, right outside of Charlotte.

Funny enough, a lot of people know somebody from Shelby, lol. At least people in NC do.

Related question, which city do you claim, the one you spent your younger years in or the one you spent your latter years in? I was born in one city but spent my most formative years in Shelby.
