Backend of the year gonna be hot. With suicide squad, reminiscence, malignant, dune, the many saints of newark, king richard (awards season submission), matrix 4.

Didn't even get into the tv shows dropping. WB/HBO definitely getting in their bag.

I like the cheesiness. Like after Kano ripped out reptile's heart he said "Kano wins."

From the Easter eggs to the dialogue to the fighting and everything else about movie, you could tell the writers or directors or somebody were MK fans.

Easter eggs are fine but bad dialogue detracts from the quality of the movie. If they are satisfied with making cheesy shit only fans would like that's cool but I thought they were trying to make a legit good movie.

It's like costume changes in the MCU. Fanboys whine about them but the changes are made because some of those classic costumes would look stupid. Not everything needs to be transferred faithfully from the source material especially when you're changing media.

The movie was ok, but I hate when adaptations force references. Most of the time it comes off cheesy as hell. We saw you kill Kabal with a big fire dragon Liu Kang, you didn't need to tell us it was a fatality.

They went from cole’s gym to Sonya house and then raiden’s run down temple

the only other place they showed was Shang Tsung’s throne for 2 mins and cole’s house for 5 mins

like they didn’t go anywhere they just trained (if you wanna call it that) and fought at raiden crib.


Also whoever wrote this was like since we have a R rating let’s just curse for the sake of it lol
