I like the cheesiness. Like after Kano ripped out reptile's heart he said "Kano wins."

From the Easter eggs to the dialogue to the fighting and everything else about movie, you could tell the writers or directors or somebody were MK fans.

This feels like it should be just a series and not a film or a series filmed on a movie budget. I'm watching regardless but I hope they get a proper budget and correct the mistakes made on this film. Six outta ten for me.

Backend of the year gonna be hot. With suicide squad, reminiscence, malignant, dune, the many saints of newark, king richard (awards season submission), matrix 4.

Didn't even get into the tv shows dropping. WB/HBO definitely getting in their bag.

Easter eggs are fine but bad dialogue detracts from the quality of the movie. If they are satisfied with making cheesy shit only fans would like that's cool but I thought they were trying to make a legit good movie.

It's like costume changes in the MCU. Fanboys whine about them but the changes are made because some of those classic costumes would look stupid. Not everything needs to be transferred faithfully from the source material especially when you're changing media.
