As fucked up as this all is i still think it's just brinkmanship to get UEFA to cave into the bigger clubs. With all the lawsuits that would fly their way the breakaway clubs would probably end up losing money even with the 450 milli.

Hopefully the likes of Jose, Klopp and Pep will speak out against the super league and other players and managers of the respective clubs will condemn it openly, there is no glory in a super league and I’m actually agreeing with Sir Alex that they’re throwing away a century or European footy history with this nonsense.

Klopp has previously spoken out against it, so hopefully he goes in...

Ita great to see fans from rival clubs joining forces to speak and out and threaten boycotting games together...

Educate me why it's so bad?

Are you serious???

For starters the money that the EPL brings in trickles down the football pyramid to the lower leagues and grassroots football...

So without the United, Liverpool, City, Arsenals etc that dilutes the EPL and the money that makes it to the football pyramid...

From a spectators point of view, who wants to see the same 20 teams play eachother week in week out in an international Super League??? That will get boring real quick... The novelty of seeing your team play Barca and Real in the Champs League is dope but that will be gone...

Also, away fans cant afford to travel around the world every week to follow their team... Great away days are gone... The stadiums will lack atmosphere...

Australia tried this in Rugby, a Rugby Super league and it tanked... Fans got bored and it created the 'Super League Wars'...

And think how this effects players international careers, as UEAFA (and FIFA???) said they are banning players form entering their competition if they compete in this Super League...

edit:

we wont get any shock results too... Like Leicester winning the EPL etc we will be robbed of shocking sporting moments

lmao @ any fan that says they won't watch the super league...

STOP DA CAP!!!!
Honestly i wouldn't bother. If i wanted an American style format i'd follow the NFL. Where's the jeopardy in this league? Not to mention that if any team is dominant in a particular season then 70% of the matches will be dead rubbers with nothing riding on it. I'd rather go to my local park and watch kids play (no pedo)

The no relegation thing stinks...

Players will just be going through the motion... Like Fulham are playing for their lives right now, you just saw Mario Lamina crying as he left the pitch after the late Wolves defeat... There will be none of that without the threat of relegation...

The premier League doesn't care about fans a season ticket at Brighton cost more than a season ticket at Bayern Munich. The same organisation that tried to charges Us for ppv games on top of the additional 100 pounds people pay for TV deals.

As far as grass roots goes its already on life support Chelsea has more scouts in Huddersfield than Huddersfield themselves while this move will make grassroots more expensive it's already struggling because what's happening. This fantasy that we sell ourselves that anyone can become a big team who has achieved that without an billionaire owner and look at the reluctant attitudes those teams have received from everyone.

I ain't saying I agree with what's happening to me it just seems like the upper middle class are now been priced out and they are screaming loudest this is just capitalism doing what it's supposed to.

It's all about money Uefa and FIFA are saying they will ban people now but I'd the superleague is getting massive views globally they could make their own tournament or FIFA will change their tune this is all about who has control of the monopoly.

We as fans have never been in the minds of FIFA or Uefa are the perfect example of the chicken coming home to roost

People legitimately lose their job in the NFL if these teams are smart they will put that stuff in to contracts so every game will be meaningful and I assume they would do a playoffs system
