Honestly I’m really thinking of leaving also. The only thing tying me to the country is my mom. I’m an only child and I can’t just leave her and lords knows she isn’t leaving that shit hole of a city I’m from. Lmao.

I’ve actually chatted with a couple of cool folks on here like @DOS_patos that has given me good info, not too mention my friends from other countries trying to get me to come there.

I don’t blame you for leaving and I wish more black folks would migrate to some of these countries that are predominantly black and share their wealth and knowledge.

I think if youre on the angry/violent end of the spectrum and should be taking meds but aren't, yea you should be flagged for something. That's a slippery slope cuz you're talking about getting into ppls medical history....but idk how else you would do it without knowing that. And we don't really have a mental health system in this country that would facilitate that. So....idk.

Yea. I just don’t trust the people to do it right and if somebody wants something that they can’t get they still get it.

Also. How many firearms is to many?

Also. Folks keep a lot of ammo because they shoot a lot.

but what is the actual gun problem tho?

guns have been in this country since its inception.................and it makes sense to have local laws that fit for a specific community......ie. a packed city with responsive, professional security forces........but to have countrywide mandated restrictions I disagree with

in rural or even spaced out suburban situations it makes perfect since to be able to protect yourself when it will take police up to 30mins to help u



my beef is that mofos used to literally have marksmanship classes back in the day at schools......and jrotc classes even used to have real firearms.......then something changed over the years

now we don't want to admit that there is a cultural problem and people are using "gun control is needed" as a way to mask the real issues

There's too many guns with millions more being put in circulation a year, which is why they're so easy to get. Nothing can realistically be done if nothing will be done to curtail the amount of guns on the street....which won't be happening any time soon.

I mean...and then there's the fact that the point of a gun is to kill. Do we want a society where citizens are allowed to own machines that can kill a dozen ppl in seconds and that's the intended purpose of it? But thats a separate philosophical debate im not tryna have...

that's just it tho.....why do we need to get guns off the street? doesn't make sense to try to do that when u can't even get the criminals off the street 1st

and the funny part is I can actually agree with an anti-gun person's reasoning for thinking that maybe something more needs to be done

but my issue is mofos preaching gun control are disingenuous when they frame what the real problem is





just like with the whole motive of preventing school shootings.........we are focused on the gun, but we never say anything about how unsecure schools facilities are in the 1st place........or even how we address potential school shooters before they are created

and u already have a society where people can own "machines" that can kill dozens of people.......it's hyperbole to try to make that an argument
 
Just bought a glock today.

Had to go through a FBI background check.

Getting a medical background check would be all type of obstacles when it comes to stopping folks from owing a gun
