It kinda irks me that the IC higher ups won't listen to the criticism for the new site and just like "deal with it." Like if no one is happy about it, why switch? It's gonan be dead and thats a shame.

I was an atheist growing up, but I first studied Islam when i was like 12/13. I wasn't big on any kind of religion at the time, but had a respect for what I learned about Islam, especially in terms of the message of equality amongst the Umma and the concept of Zakat.

I found God at 22. I started studying different faiths and the particular experience I had in finding God brought me in line with a monotheistic viewpoint. I wasn't inclined towards Christianity, so I looked moreso into Judaism, Sikhism and Islam.

In studying Islam I found all the answers I was looking for and found to have similar thoughts on God, as well as life in general, to people that were both alive and had been dead over a thousand years. I personally wasn't very disciplined, but over time I came to practice and took the Shahadah.

They were banking to leverage our posting to their articles for cash .Im wiling too bet 85% of the community didnt goto the front page on purpose i know i didnt . Also iguess they wanted to be apart of this social media ecosystem that the maven seems to have cultivated.. that shit looks corny as fuck.. i ll check it out though
