Existing law makes it a felony punishable by imprisonment for 3, 5, or 8 years in the state prison to expose another person to the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) by engaging in unprotected sexual activity when the infected person knows at the time of the unprotected sex that he or she is infected with HIV, has not disclosed his or her HIV-positive status, and acts with the specific intent to infect the other person with HIV.
This bill would repeal those provisions. The bill would instead make the intentional transmission of an infectious or communicable disease, as defined, a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in a county jail for not more than 6 months if certain circumstances apply, including that the defendant knows he or she or a 3rd party is afflicted with the disease, that the defendant acts with the specific intent to transmit or cause an afflicted 3rd party to transmit the disease to another person, that the defendant or the afflicted 3rd party engages in conduct that poses a substantial risk of transmission, as defined, that the defendant or the afflicted 3rd party transmits the disease to the other person, and if the exposure occurs through interaction with the defendant and not a 3rd party, that the person exposed to the disease during voluntary interaction with the defendant did not know that the defendant was afflicted with the disease

This was also done in California for those who remember and it was done by a (D)emocrat named Scott Wiener and the bill was titled SB239. No, I didn't make that up either. That's literally his last name.
Back when we was on AHH, I was posting the documentation from sodomites and planned parenthood telling what they wanted at a federal level/state level and they demands as well as requests they wanted. And even quotes/pages out of their books and other documentation. Yes, these were they agendas and they dated as far back as the 60's, even though you probably believed there were no agendas. This particular advancement for Aids/Hiv was in the one from the 90's tho. I got tired of posting them once I realized posters didn't pay attention as long as legislation like this came from democrats. This advancement for Aids has been something sodomites have been requesting since 93 to be exact and if you knew better, you'd know there was not much of an advancement for Aids/Hiv. So if the sodomites had got they $$ up back in the 90's, this could've been advanced by Clinton. He was also a top democrat they supported. I got that documentation saved on one of my externals and some of it should still be on HuffPost.
In the future; we'll be seeing biological pregnant men, even more aids advancements like this from politicians like Stacey Abrams since she went over this on her own website before it was updated, and also legalized child s*x. Probably at a state level and not a federal level since this was how they classified such.

1. Calling LGBTQ people “sodomites”, lol.
2. Hispanics catching a stray in a post unrelated to them.
3. Saying the slippery slope is to child sex.
I do agree that people with any STD should face charges for knowingly transmitting said STD. This isn’t limited to just LGBTQ people though.
And to play devils advocate, I’m guessing HIV/AIDS got such a strong designation because it was basically a death sentence back in the day. Now with treatments, people can technically be cured (presence of virus so low to be undetectable, I know you’ve seen the commercials, lol).
So seems to me like they’re bringing it down to the criminal level of something like Herpes.
Again, I don’t agree, but I’m not as outraged as you either. And I get the feeling you’re only outraged because it’s a group of people you don’t like.

We’re to believe an Indian-Jamaican living with her single mother in Canada was celebrating a made-up holiday that almost nobody had heard of at the time? It was invented in 1966. What “extended” family was around to celebrate it? I can accept she might have celebrated it with Willie Brown in later years, but not as a child.

Oh Please! Enough of this already! I'm African American and none in my neighborhood celebrated this made up holiday growing up or now - though some of the parents say that their grandkids are learning about it in school now.
