2020 NFL Season Thread

I know exactly what I saw. Two QBs that struggled to complete passes in rhythm.

one had his top 4 weapons at WR and the other coming back from 12 broken ribs and 3 practice squad players catching passes.

And was still a 3 point game.

If they played the same you wouldn't be making excuses about ribs and WR injuries. You'd just be talkin about how they played. If you think Brees didn't play as well as Mahomes, and has good excuses for it... ok. But if you think they played the same, you're tripping.

Brees completed 44% of his passes in a dink and dunk offense. Mahomes completed 55% in an aggressive offense. How's that the same? 1/3 of Brees completions and 1/3 of his yards came from RB's. Chiefs RB's had 2 catches for 18 yards.

:hahaha:

This looks like a Matt Rhule power play.

"You look at successful organizations, and there's a certain alignment between the head coach and the GM," team owner David Tepper said in a statement. "To think that you can do that without some sort of alignment is nuts. So to not have a head coach with some input into that is stupid. I don't want to be stupid, OK?"

Absolutely.

All that money they paying him though nobody should be surprised.

Rhule shit not gonna work at the pro level.

Teams need to stop trying to rush the process. Bring him in as an OC/DC. Get acclimated to the league. If he's really your guy, the current HC will start to show you when it's time to move on then promote.

Coaches that come from college and have success immediately and consistently are the exception and not the rule. The sooner NFL owners realize this, the better off they'll be.

Biggest adjustment is the power dynamic between the coach and the players

in college...you are still an authority figure and the locker room is full of kids.

in the pros...these are grown men...some of who are making more money than you. Same tactics you use on college kids dont work in an NFL locker room...in addition for most teams...the buck doesnt stop with the HC....

best example is in Dallas...

you dont like some shit coach is doing...

go holla at Jerry lol

I really don't even know shit about rhule like that frfr, but I hate how he tried to come in with the cut off seatshirt like bellicheck. That shit look goofy on him too
