Then they didn't play the same. If Mahomes is extending plays and targeting receivers downfield, while Brees is dumping off to RB's at the LOS they weren't at the same level of play. Mahomes hitting a target 30 yards downfield isn't the same as Brees hitting Kamara 2 yards behind the LOS and him running 30 yards.

I know exactly what I saw. Two QBs that struggled to complete passes in rhythm.

one had his top 4 weapons at WR and the other coming back from 12 broken ribs and 3 practice squad players catching passes.

And was still a 3 point game.
