Speaking of Cane, someone spoke on it a while back.............but I don't think he's Lorenzo's son.
Might not be Monet's son either.
Interesting choice of words between him and Lorenzo.
He referred to Cane as his soldier.............and his mother as his wife.
He didn't refer to Cane as his son..........or Monet as Cane's mother.
Normally when a father talks to his son about getting out of line with their mother, they say something to the effect of:
"Don't ever talk to your mother like that."
Not..........."don't talk to my wife like that."
Then when that cop told Monet she needs to keep Cane in line, she told him that Cane wasn't his son.
Might be looking too much into it, but what if the cop is Cane's biological father.
Not too farfetched depending on how long him and Monet have been seeing each other.
Everyone assumes it happened after Lorenzo got locked up, but they could've been together before that.
Cane's the oldest child, so.........maybe they were together before (or at the same time) she was with Lorenzo........they stopped seeing each other once her and Lorenzo made it official..........and then started seeing each other again once Lorenzo got locked up.
Some people have even speculated that he might be Kanaan's son...........considering the similarity in the names and how they act.
Either way, it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out throughout the course of the show.
