Again, from how the situation has been described, the Trump team contacted him. Ya'll keep misrepresenting the situation all so you can pile on that dude. Some of the info in this topic indicates that both Biden and Trump's teams reached out to Cube. All Cube did was engage with them. To your point, since the CWBA was out there for anyone to see, the NAACP or CBC could have reached out to Cube and either given him advice or told him to fall back a little.

Like I said, even if Cube was wrong to do what he did, this backlash is unnecessary. It's like black people don't know any other way of relating with people they disagree with outside of attacking.

Getting in bed with a known liar and racist such as Trump is a decision Ice Coon didn't have to make. He could have easily said 'no thanks' to them and kept it moving.

Trump saw this as an opportunity to get some black votes. This is despite him trashing us for four years.

Dog, you're either not reading or your reading comprehension is low. No one is saying that criticizing Cube is wrong. I literally just said that if people think he was wrong, they could have gone about reaching out to him in a different way. You can criticize someone and show them the error of their ways without attacking them. You're literally calling this dude a coon and the only thing he was trying to do was get presidential nominees to take a black agenda seriously.

Like I said before, I've already read biden plan and once again, it's the typical poc/minority/poor communities language that ends up benefiting us very little if at all.

And both sides do this, they get away with it because too many in the black community accept it. No end game beyond symbolic voting. We way past that.

As far as what will be allowed, that's where the onus is on us to keep the pressure on. None of these politicians will do a damn thing out of the kindess of their own hearts. They don't have one.

We need to cut the umbilical cord to the democratic party and negotiate with whoever we have to get shit done. Just because we have a republican party in office, doesn't mean we shouldn't hold their asses to the fire also. I mean beyond just bitching about what they won't/not doing

Ice Cube has his Contract with Black America. That's what he was promoting as a possible black agenda.

The current president had no black agenda. He was working on coming up with one and was willing to put at least one big idea from the CWBA into his agenda. Now you could argue he wouldn't have kept that promise, and you'd probably be right.

Biden apparently already had a plan. His camp let Cube know that they wouldn't really be picking up the CWBA, but they might have been willing to work with him after the election.

If you don't understand how politics supposed to work, i.e. knowing the person wanting your vote won't do shit unless you have leverage to force them to, then I don't know what to tell you.

The only thing those fucks care about is advancing their own interests. Again, it's on us to make them do something along the way. So you answer is when there is a republican administration, don't even bother making them do their job, because they just won't. We just gotta keep bitching about their racism and inaction until the super dems come save us.

Some of us live in areas with local/state republican administrations. We just supposed to not expect anything from them either?
