but yeah it is just business.. and what they did was bad business. Not for the owners but it was bad for the folks that helped make the site valuable in the first place far as I could tell *shrugs*
Site traffic does though.
If most of your traffic is generated by the message board and you go ahead against the will of the folks that are bringing all of the traffic to your site and turn it all on its head and make it a shitty experience... that matters in the real world.. and those metrics were obviously felt.. hence them trying to backtrack now
I think this is the result of what happened with the maven and something else that hit the news recently that I can’t remember at the moment
you making it seem like the maven bought the IC because of the forum and because it didn’t have traffic they gave it back
I can assure you that’s not the case lol
that maven deal didn't work out they aint do what they were suppose to so greg n them want to bring the old illcommunity back
