Here's the difference; If somebody asked me what I think of Garth Brooks, Adele, or Macklemore and Ryan Lewis I wouldn't call their music wack. I'd just say that it's not my style. Truthfully I've never spent enough time to listen to any of those artists so I can't even form an opinion.

If somebody asks you about an artist you don't like, just say 'I don't like it", or "it's cool but it's just mot my style".

You can go into further detail as to why you don't like it. Maybe all the beats sound alike, or you don't like his voice, or you think his lyrics are too simple, or too complicated.

But there's no reason to say that the people that listen to his music ride the short bus.
