This just shows how out of touch the DNC is with the black community.

Once they take note of all the social media backlash they're getting from picking her, I wouldn't be surprised if she steps down by the end of the month.

Then again, that probably won't happen because that would be a PR disaster.

Guess it's a no-win situation.

I would have rather him not backed himself into a corner by saying he would choose a female candidate.

Simply because Kamala wasn't the woman he originally intended to pick.

He actually wanted Amy Klobuchar.

Basically, he didn't intend to actually choose from a pool of female candidates............because he already had one in mind.

Once Klobuchar backed out, he was forced to choose from a group of women he never intended to be his running mate to begin with.

Spoke on it in more detail a week or so ago:

Biden backed himself into a corner.

He never actually said he'd "choose" a woman to be his VP candidate.

He only said that his VP candidate "would be" a woman.

Basically, there was no selection process.

He already had someone in mind: Amy Klobuchar.

However, once it came out that, a few years ago, she decided not to prosecute the cop who killed George Floyd.......she was no longer a viable candidate.,

Biden wasn't about to give up on her, so she actually had to make a public statement withdrawing her name from consideration to get him to leave her alone.

Now, because he said his running mate would be a woman.............he has to choose from a pool of women that he never had any intention of choosing to begin with.

Not sure if he's cut out to be President.

Simply because someone who has been in politics for as long as he has should know better than to back themselves into a corner like that.

Something you'd expect from a neophyte.........not a seasoned politician.

I'm sure you can prove these assertions.

@Marc123

I think he should've picked the candidate that would have given him the best chance to win.

In my opinion, that would've been Bernie Sanders.

Not really a Sanders fan, but picking him would've guaranteed that he got the votes of all of Sanders supporters.

Or at least most of them.

However, once he backed himself into a corner by saying he'd pick a woman...........that option was no longer available.

Deductive reasoning.

Why else would Amy Klobuchar make a public statement withdrawing herself from contention?

None of the other prospects did that.

Why did she do it?

Well, because she already had confirmation from Joe Biden that it would be her.

Once it came out that she could've prosecuted George Floyd's killer years ago but chose not to, she realized that her being his running mate would be a hindrance.

Plus, she probably didn't want to subject herself and her family to the scrutiny of that situation.

Only thing that makes sense.

So no proof. Just your assumptions. Got it.

The bold sounds like a fancy way to dress up assumptions.

We're not in a court of law bruh.

It's just a theory.

A theory which is probably true based on the way things unfolded.

We're just having a discussion.

So nobody really has any definitive proof of anything in this situation.

All I can do is believe what makes the most sense to me based on the information available.

Don't understand why you think it's so farfetched to be true.

Look, forget about asking for proof.

Does it make sense or does it not make sense?

Oh, so you now admit it's just a theory and have stopped trying to pass it off as fact. I can dig that.

Uh. come on bruh. It was widely assumed she only did that to earn brownie points. She knew after the g floyd/d chavin situation that she was out of the running. She figured that it would be a slick way to get ahead of it and to play it to her advantage
