Breaking News Viacom severs ties with Nick Cannon amid alleged "antisemitic" statements

Yeah I changed the thread title again.

I know whoever changed it might not have done so in malice, but we need to be careful no to go along with other people's narratives as if we are slaves to their perspective.

We are independent in thought and in deed. Regardless of whether they dislike or disapprove of Cannon's statements, simply calling them antisemitic does not in fact make them antisemitic.


This is the type of energy we need to come with: complex nuanced language that they can't easily write off as hateful. And if they won't deal with the complexity of our speech, they will have to leave us alone.

Oh most definitely, just saying in modern times you can legit do comedies, shows, rap songs about Arabs call them terrorists and get away with it.

Say "I'm getting jewish money" and you might not have a career if you don't apologize.

You can make fun of every race, no one bats an eye.
But as soon as they're Jewish they wanna scream anti semite.

South park and Larry david and them got away with it because they're Jewish. But it's ok for them to make fun of black people and everyone else.

Even Charlie Sheen career is done and he didnt say anything extreme.

I remember when I had a media class and teacher was a black man who was close to all of motown, worked on thriller and used to work with Stevie wonder.

He told us to never piss off Jews and Gays if you want to work in entertainment.

He said the run Hollywood and if you piss them off they'll never forget and they're very easily offended.

I cant find the quote rn so I gotta say this from memory (even tho i kinda forgot), but i was browsing reddit yesterday and someone commented saying Viacom filed something in court last year or so to get the rights or name of the show. I'm guessing they had their army of lawyers hunt for a loop hole and finally found something to snatch the show.

A lot of people in entertainment have "fuck you" money but dont have the guts to say "fuck you". They're lowkey addicted the the lifestyle and attention. Cant really go back to being lowkey or regular after that. Worst of all, marketing from commission based jobs (money managers, real estate agents, agents), convinced them they cant afford to retire or leave the industry unless they're like a billionaire.

Had to goat this. I know myself and other posters have been trying to tell people to wise up and be smarter about this fight, but they usually dismiss us as being pussy or coons and sometimes calling us undercover whites.

You not winning anything fighting like the English during the revolutionary war.
