That's not what IM debating. I'm saying k.dot is more than a average rapper. Who knows who would win. Drake beat meek mill in a song battle. Now if u wanna make hypotheticals n debate what would happen if they went on URL, I'm out. Too many factors to consider. I love n respect both as MCs. Both above average rappers in my book.

Damn that's a tough one. That's debatable for me. I'm not gonna shit on Lupe to lift k.dot up. I'll say this if Lupe dissed him, he shoulda said something back, then again is he supposed to respond to every rapper that say something. Big Sean n drake he had a relationship w, so I can see why he threw subliminal at them

Brah....I get it the 80s were a good time. But some of them dudes had some basic rhyme patterns that dont compare to what other people after them did. Lyrically or from a technical aspect you cant compare a LL to a kdot. Btw how can you say, "ITS NOT EVEN DEBATABLE" you keep throwing these ridiculous statements out there. Of course is debatable, just cause u liked them niggas, dont mean they better than ALL newer rappers that came after them lol

The point is, you dont have to be a elite rapper to make a great album. Kendrick is not a elite all time rapper. None of the current crop are. Most are B level at best. Lupe and Wayne are prolly the last elite rappers.

That Lupe shit was basura. He was off beat, spitting nonsensical, corny, cringeworthy bars. As to why he salty with kendrick? Jealousy. Kendrick in the spot Lupe thought/wants to be in.

When lupe didnt blow up, he and his fans crafted this narrative that he was too smart for the mainstream audience. So for dot to come and get the acclaim that lupe wanted for himself tweaks him. But they not comparable in any true sense, lupe is not relevant in 2020 and that's just something he gotta take responsibility for and move accordingly.

I disagree. Wayne, Lupe and Kendrick in the same tier to me. That's how I see it. An average rapper is NOT making a great or classic album, unless theres ghostwriters heavily involed

I feel the same way about GKMC and DAMN btw

both cold af in their own regards.....Lu's sword is just sharper

never had any K dot bars hit me a year later and have me googling shit

i understand that has nothing to do with hooks and songmaking abilities and geography....which all plays into it
