The Detroit Pistons will search for an assistant general manager after they hire a general manager.
Tayshaun Prince and Chauncey Billups are two former players of the Pistons that they would have interest in hiring for an assistant general manager position.
Prince is currently vice president of basketball affairs for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Billups has expressed that he would only be interested in being hired as general manager. The Pistons would prefer to hire Billups as an assistant GM because he has no previous NBA executive experience. Billups turned down an opportunity to run the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017 to remain in broadcasting.

That's a great opportunity for Chauncey to be an assistant GM in Detroit learn then become a full GM.

Detroit loves Chauncey, he can do know wrong to us.

Like how good do you think murray will be? (as far as being capable to carry a team or be one of the best players?)

clayface playing SF but he probably not gonna be back

Rudy gay a bench wing at this point and he about to be 34

LMA is 40 years old

Lonnie Walker is promising (one of the few bright spots) but how long until he is a capable starting Guard?

Mills is cool as a bench bucket getter who can’t play D

Derrick White is cool but no point in having him if he’s not a bench PG because he can’t start over murray and she shouldn’t start at SG

Bryn Forbes is a decent bench SG

trey lyles I used to be high on but I think I have to accept the fact that he’s light skinned Patrick Patterson without the toughness

poetl is a bright spot and seems to be a solid defensive glue guy

Guys like keldon Johnson don’t matter

Murray is a huge piece when the spurs eventually switch gears but he’s a third option guy who makes plays and defends really well

Before all this happened its was pretty much a guarantee that Derozan was leaving.....now with all of the uncertainty its looking more likely that he's going to opt in

Going to continue to stifle and stunt the growth of Murray, White, Forbes and Walker for another year if he does which the Spurs cant afford
