Lawsuit central bruh. The best way of ignoring significant lawsuits is to finish this season.

Believe me no one wants this shit cancelled more than me. Coronavirus stopping Liverpool winning the title 2 games out? Even my best wet dream couldn't match that BUT the league will avoid that at all costs otherwise they're giving themselves an unsolvable headache

Ok so that means no season next year.

What about the lawsuits for loss of earnings across all leagues over a whole season rather than just 9 games?

How will clubs who can’t survive 9 games without match day revenue last a whole season?

It raises more questions imo..

You man tuned into Boris right now?

I’m trying to take him seriously but he’s an idiot and I laugh at him.

The people need to listen tho...

The guy's a prick but he's right on this one. They need to flatten the curve regarding Coronavirus cases. Too many dickheads socialising and treating it all like a joke.

This explains it best:

It doesn’t affect the integrity of the sport imo.

This crisis is unprecedented.
It definitely does have one the most dominant teams stripped because a virus imagine if they don't come close to winning it again? It will take a long time for people to consider the competition worthwhile. Soo many teams will lose money it's just way too messy.

And again how do we solve the European football issues tooo much money in it. Imagine Leicester don't get this opportunity again?

Good point but unfortunately it is the lower league clubs who will be impacted by the loss of matchday revenue and their concerns will be dealt with last, collateral damage.

I think they should do a round of playoffs to decide promotion then restart the season with no teams relegated.
I think play offs all round award Liverpool the league play offs for European places.

Play offs to stay up

Let it trickle down

TV money would be big however there be some salty mid table teams

If you don't do relegation teams like Leeds lose too much money. Plus they will never come back

So the reports are that Macron said if Britain doesn't adopt a tougher approach they will close the boarders. Hence the change of policy on Friday.

Been should have closed the boarders and been tougher on our lockdown... Last week we just had to looked at what happened to Asia and EU countries like Italy and assumed the worst would happen to us too...

Wake up to see pics of people packed on the underground again...

Last night, Prime Minister says London on lockdown. This morning....

What's happening in the states??

All depends what state you live in. On the East coast and West coast it's on lockdown.
Middle America is starting to get worried, panic buying.
But down south, I think they think they can shoot their way out of this.
The governor of Texas or some high ranking politian said yesterday, Texas ain't closing down shit.
Dude went as far to say the old people would make the ultimate patriotic sacrifice and just die so their grandchildren and the economy can live.
