Yeah no big deal after 3 decades and paying them hundreds of thousands of dollars for those seats while being the only solid person to represent and ride for that franchise. It's some shit you don't do or need to do. But of course Dolan will do it. Why because he can.

Nicholson attended Lakers games for years, too.. so have many other celebs. None of them seem to have the issue Spike has... and instead of going to the VIP door, he just gets offended. It’s high school level crap.

Spike is what's unfortunately the downside to being a super fan. He is blinded by his loyalty to that team that he can't see that he's a pawn in a game he shouldn't have to play in the first place

It's clear Dolan isn't invested in trying to actually create a positive culture of anything. Spike using his childhood memories to justify why he's still gonna go to games.

He's the fool in this situation

He said the Barclays is 4 blocks from his office. I don't see what the issue is. I bet they would welcome him with open arms and get him in on the branding and everything.

Hell, I would let him direct the starters intro video or something if I were Brooklyn.

After 30 years if you can't present any discernible reason as to why your now making him go through another entrance other than just because you can you on some hoe shit. Bottom line. How they went about it was the ultimate disrespect.

Have a conversation before maybe try to come to some compromise if possible. Don't run up on an old man with security and tell him to walk back outside and around.
