People love Sam Presti for that haul he got last summer but he should be catching some flack for never even attempting to surround Westrbook with shooting

All they ever did for years was acquire a gang of long 6"8-6"9 defensive wings who shot 27% from 3 and look like computer generated players in 2k

I wonder if Wall focuses on playing D like he did when he was the best PG in the East and if beal is still there do they commit to playing D again?

Yep. Thats was OKC's issue for year. They had 2 max players, which took alot of the cap, but thats fine, you pay KD and pay Westbrook.

But that contract to steven adams fucked them up. I fuck with Adams but hes a dime a dozen. You could find a center to do what he does for much cheaper.

But yea, that contract to Adams made it so they could never go out and get consistent shooting.

There was a time when Wall was a top 3 defender at position and arguably the best shot blocking guard of all time but he had fallen off as a defender even before he got hurt.....I would expect them both to motivated and play with something to prove when he gets back(Wall never be that good defensively again though)

To me I don’t think he fell off but moreso he started focusing on scoring a bit more and got lazier on D to conserve the energy

I miss him

I mean he did get paul george and melo.

It's not his fault kd couldn't stand russ and seen the signs.

Got Schroeder for pennies.

There was enough but niggas was busy chasing triple doubles, when it was more important shit to care about. Call it what it was. Russ cared about russ and these guys were hostages because they didn't want him to run off on em. Once pg bailed and they got the rebuild haul they were free of him.

I dont disagree at all but I dont think its that simple, its a lot of layers to the Russell Westbrook experience which Im learning every game
