I didn't say he's trash....

When i start going in and mfs start crying, then i'm foul. I tried to let yall be.

But it's YOUR website and you can't handle when people have a difference of opinion than you.

Your posts prove that you are an inferior debater and are unable to express yourself clearly... So you hide behind .gifs and Ad hominem attacks.

That's funny cuz i'm actually the complete opposite of what he described. You can look at the black thought thread for proof.

I list multiple reasons and proof to support my arguments and most people on here just post gifs and bring up threads from years ago that had nothing to do with the topic at hand, including faggot ass 5 grand saying i was a heineken drinker.

all because we said diddy wants a beatmaker and BT is a legend lmaooooo whew*

I said mad times the thread is about producing, why do you keep saying beatmaker? Then yall wonder why i say the shit i say.

idk if I've said this but I think the disconnect is most of his peers actually make beats, produce (arrange and composition of things on the track) and in some cases, perform songs they've written

Diddy's claim to fame appears to be him reviving or remixing older songs as samples without having to do any of the technical shit involved with doing it which is why it's hard to say he's a top producer

maybe executive or something

idk man. this not my hill but I'm thoroughly entertained at the banter

And that's why i said most people don't even know what Puff did in/for music. He didn't just do remixes smh. He changed the sound of music.

And the whole beatmaker argument is wack because it be the same niggas who was calling Quincy Jones the goat and quincy didn't make 1 fuckin beat, but wanna penalize puff for being a producer not a beatmaker.

But yea, niggas music IQ's are low af. I'm going back to making threads and not posting. See yall in a couple months.

goldie get your ass back here and stop being dramatic

Even Puff purely as a producer, ignoring his lack of proven expertise pertaining to beatmaking, doesn’t have room in the top 5 section. But I appreciate the impact of most the music he brought I won’t front on that.

then i guess the conversation needs to be, what exactly is puff

what exactly do you credit him for

i see both sides of the discussion

you cant deny his stamp on hip hop but how exactly do you define what that stamp is

I'll say this much;

Puffy has better business acumen then 99% of people in the industry. Not only did he discover, and executive produce Jodeci, Mary J Blige, and Notorious B.I.G. but he got credited for whatever he did. A lot of times you hear about somebody complaining that they did they produced a song but they didn't get credit. Whatever Puffy did, he made sure he got the credit for it.

Also, there were alot of music moguls in the 90s and I don't know the details but Puffy managed to walk away with a couple of hundred million dollars.

And Life After Death and No Way Out owned 1997.

Bad Boy sold 30 million records in 1997, or the records that were released in 1997 eventually sold 30 million units.
