What movies traumatized you as a kid?

My mom was a horror fan and she let us watch that shit as young as 5. I'm pretty sure that's why basements freak me out for no good reason. We watched "It", however clowns dont scare me at all but looking down drain holes freaks me out. Not scared I'm going to see a clown just scared of seeing ANYTHING looking back at me.

I remember watching Cujo, not scared of dogs but the thought of my dog turning on me freaks me out and its small enough I could bunt that mf across the street. Pet sematary? Got a cat just like Church, best cat ever, that little boy tho? "Come play wiff me mommy" FOOOOOH.

So weird fears they gave me, not direct phobias of the actual scary part of the movies.

Freddy Krueger had me scared to go to sleep back in the day

IT - I still don't fuck with clowns or balloons cuz of that shit. Aint scared of them.. but them muhfuckas make me uncomfortable lmao

All the chucky movies (excluding the recent ones) used to scare me partly because my family used to try to convince me that the doll was real and it had superpowers like going through walls and shit

I’m not sure why they thought it’d be funny to tell a 6-8 year old kid that smh

The first Nightmare On Elm Street when shorty was getting attacked and she ripped Freddy's skin off his face. That fucked me up and to add insult after watching the movie I had to take the trash out and it was pitch black outside.
Same movie.. The part where she day dreamed the body being dragged thru school then followed it into a boiler room

Like every nightmare I had as a kid lead back to that boiler room

Shit seems a bit tame these days, but for a TV movie "The Day After" gave a grip of people that watched it nightmares for days on end.
