Also, just going off the last page with this bars/gossip shit.

In a rap beef, Pusha had knowledge on Drake that the public didnt know about. Anyone would have taken it there. Plus, then there was news that Drake called around to find some shit about Pusha and shit, so Drake tried it too.

But back to the bars, how was Pusha supposed to say like yo your baby mom is a porn star with dope metaphors? That shit would have lessened the impact. When you have a trump card like that, the most effective way to use it is by saying it as simple as possible. Like Pusha did.
 
I'm only speaking as somebody who doesn't care who Drake BM is, or that he has a child. I came for witty bars & great rapping. I didnt feel I got that from Push. It was underwhelming but it did the job. But Drake definitely deserves credit for putting out a great diss & I see very little to no credit being given.

The best diss tracks of all time had tupac saying he fucked biggies wife with no bars, Nas calling Jay ugly, Cube calling NWA homos, Jay saying he fucked Nas' baby mom, Jay calling prodigy a ballerina. The list goes on.

On wax when two premier rappers diss each other, you looking to see who embarrassed who the most.

Its not like Drake could outbar Pusha if they decide to just see who got the best bars anyway.

It's funny you said that, Cuz none of those are necessarily any of my favorite disses besides Takeover. Always felt Hit me up & Ether were Overrated. Super ugly was meh.
