Anyone seen this on Netflix. It's a pretty dope fighting anime. If you like something like Baki or other shonen types centered more on straight fighting, you like this one.



On a related note, the outro song is basically some Japanese Trap style rap. It's surprisingly jamming...at least the beat is.

The show is very similar to Baki visually and stylistically, and several characters have similar names (they are common names in Japanese I assume). The story and characters are very different though. After a few episodes the similarities become mostly superficial.

I read the whole manga a minute ago so I'm glad I get to see it animated. Fuck the ending, people loved it but I fucking hated it.

I like the show itself better than baki tho. Baki on some other shit. Seen a nigga take a shotgun blast to the chest and shrugged it off cause he eats steak all day

Yeah, you definitely have to turn your brain off more for Baki. For that show, you just need to enjoy the fights and ignore everything else. Kengan has the over the top magic martial arts bit going for it too, but the explanations are more believable.

Baki vs Tokita would be good DeathBattle fodder though.

Kengan mechanics is way more realistic
