First off, im not gonna debate whether the joke was offensive or not. You can make a case that its offensive.

But, everyone knew for sure he was joking. As a journalist to take an off the record joke and make it all about her is trash.

Shes a journalist, they agreed it to be off the record, there was never any doubt that he was joke. She coulda told him that was offensive to his face.
