A felon getting out of jail and going back home to the projects in LA. He's trying to raise his son, and do right, so he can move him to the Inland Empire. It's a family show in the sense that you see how hard it can be to do right when you got uncles and cousins doing dirt and you wanna help your family but you got priorities and you're in it alone basically. The kids mom is locked up too so he's basically a single dad now. It's got a great cast, familiar faces. It's good just hard to watch.
