They broke in to a top secret lab that had no security cameras. Then he was able to bust the safety glass to let venom free with a fire extinguisher....

yo I got some gripes with the MCU but that does NOTHING to save this movie.

The biggest issue with this movie is that another movie with a similar preface but significantly smaller budget shitted all over it.

Upgrade was everything Venom should have been even with the Tom Hardy understudy. Venom just seemed uncohesive.

what did you personally like about it

I liked seeing Venom as a character on the movie screen. It was a mindless fun action movie. Yes I would've loved if they stuck close to the comic book. But with Spidey being in the MCU, they couldn't. I'm looking forward to the sequel with Spidey in the mix now. And don't act like it's no MCU movies with unfinished looking cgi.
