the texts also speak on how the sky people came and created workers to mine for them. they didnt like how the work was turning out and it was passed to another person who edited the dna of them and another species and it made humans.
and thats maybe why we dont see the merger of monkeys to human...because monkeys and edited and added dna makes us.

If you are getting your info from Zechariah Sitchin then you are walking into pseudo history linguistics, culture and etc. He has been proven a hoax and science fiction fantasy writer. That's like saying lord of the rings is true events in Britain.

People were very observant studying the skies there was no fluorescent lights, no TV and etc so they studied the stars and it helped them navigate them. Of course people will write mythological stories and we do it today. But it's not history.

Transitional archaic humans have been found and more than enough links. No gene splicing necessary.

First what are these sons of God? What are their biology and have we uncover their children.. Answer nah. So genesis was more likely written 200 bce so a physical account nah and more likely no oral tradition either. So it's their play on mythology to tell a story and a reason why humanity had to be destroyed.

No record of a global flood and inland cultures do not have flood stories.

The point is that Stitchin and his kind basically glosses over everybody history. Why are middle eastern stories or its very highly theorized versions have a stronger yield or authority when it comes to human history? It's because we are more expose to it. To get to the truth we must use scientific tools, appropriate linguistic tools, and then some things are just faith base cause there is no proof of it.

there are other stories of a flood.
the hindu flood of manu is just like the great deluge or great flood.

I said I landers typically do not have flood stories and of course humans have flood stories we live typically by large bodies of water sources. Every powerful ancjent nation lives by water sources until our plumbing gotten better so of course they have flood stories. Egyptian flood stories are typically joyous while middle eastern flood stories are sad. So no not every ancient culture has a flood story. Some have earthquakes and hurricanes or tornadoes . Got to study everybody not the loudest niggas.

Local floods? Absolutely. We see this yearly on TV. With technology today, we can see its localized and not global. If we were still cavemen, we would think that it was global and the world was ending.

You can’t have a global flood w so many stories thousands of years apart of each other. This would mean there would be multiple global floods throughout earths history.
