Is it wrong to only date one race?

Yeah, my family is very tight-knit and I'm connected to them financially as well so that causes a bit of pressure on me, but I do need to work on putting more boundaries in place between us even though I struggle with that.

maybe the travel thing but im talking about the “has traveled extensively” qualification not the “loves traveling” qualifications
Variety of hobbies, you don’t want to end up upset one day because he’s too into his hobbies to see you

I just like being chill talking to people online
 
I don't think there's anything wrong with it at the end of the day life's short, you should love whoever you want.

However, I must acknowledge that as a black man, no woman on Earth will understand me as well as the black woman.

I imagine that's the same case for every other race.

  • Republican- No exceptions
  • Conservative- No exceptions

  • White-collar
  • Two-parent home with parents who are still together (unless they were widowed--no divorce or separation though)
  • Old fashioned, traditional values and gender roles- No exceptions
  • Absolutely no smoking of any kind, light social drinking but no more than that
  • Family orientated
  • (A bit of) cockiness, arrogance
  • Loves to travel, especially internationally
  • Knows how to navigate high society functions

Would be nice...:
  • Diverse music taste, loves Classic and Rock (not that stupid New Age crap- I am talking about the classics- Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi, and Eric Clapton) in particular

  • Loves boating- family owns a lake house and yacht that we go on twice weekly in the summer
  • Loves outdoors in general- hiking, RV'ing, camping, State Parks

  • Extroverted
  • Loves intellectual banter, debates, trivia nights, and other things like that


Physically:
  • Nice sense of classic preppy style (like I myself have)- no streetwear, no too small t-shirts that are riding up, no tight skinny pants that fit like my leggings, no Addidas soccer training pants, no Puma sweatsuit in a single color, and so on. Instead, someone who's style on a casual day is, for example: Docker's trousers, a gingham or seersucker button-up, a pair of Duck Boots or Sperry's, Ray Ban's w/Croakie, and Titleist hat.
  • (This is a common outfit of my male Black friend I mentioned earlier, just to give you all an example of the aesthetic)
  • Neither fat nor stick skinny. Not bodybuilder muscular. Not too tall or shorter than me.

Any black man that checks off everything on that list is unlikely to date black women.
Why? For the exact same reason(s) you don't want them.
 
Honestly, I forgot about this forum until recently when I got the notifications for the new postings... Glad the annoying rating/downvoting has stopped.

Interesting that you say that. While I feel men of other races won't be able to understand Black issues 100%, I feel most of my past partners have come pretty darn close. What do you think non-Black women won't or do not understand?
