We have a separate tub and shower so every week or so probably for the shower and after each use for the tub, if we use it.

When you say you clean it after every use do you mean you have one of those automated spray cleaners or do you actually take time out the day to scrub the shower?

Whenever someone finishes cleaning themselves in it they wash it, we wash it ourselves

Personally I have one of those spray cleaners that I use after every use but I actually scrub mine every few days to a week.

lol I've heard scientific reasons for why there may be a such thing as showering too much. However, I don't think I've ever heard anything about it being possible to clean a shower too often.

You definitely need to be washing the tub after every bath. Not doing that is crazy to me. If you got a dedicated shower, they do have sprays that you can use after you take a shower that may prevent the need to scrub after every use, so I guess if you use those it might make sense to not do a full cleaning after use.

Never that but I'm definitely not cleaning it after each use. That's crazy. Once a week for me. Once every 3-4 weeks I do a complete bathroom clean, change the floor mats, curtains etc.
