It depends on how old the kid is, he could have been outside and then wandered off with friends. Without knowing the reason the son wasn't there it's hard to say who's wrong

The mom knew where the son was. And again, based on the convo, I can deduce it's a younger child, possibly under the age of 10. Typically these issues get better as the child ages but the way they were cutting up, it's definitely a younger child

Not sure if that would've made a difference.
I mean, she didn't comply with a court order, so..........if she didn't make sure her son was available at her house............she probably wouldn't show up at a public place either.
The only way this might've turned out differently is if it was some kind of supervised visitation in which an officer of the court was required to be present to make sure everything went smoothly.
Then again, even in that scenario, she still might not have complied.

Just bcuz you can legally own a gun, doesn't mean everything has to be a death sentence. All of this could have been avoided. Shooter gonna have the nerve to say he didn't want any of this to happen. . Then why go get a gun to escalate a situation that could have easily been solved?

Shoulda just called the police from jump like they always do. Also when he came out the door with the gun and the dad stepped to him, the dad straight up punked him especially when he didn't flinch after the warning shot. Step dad was in no mans land after that. His pride in front of his wife was on the line.
