This site is janky as fuck and only getting worse.

And anytime somebody mentions that shit the "official" response is "did you donate?"

Fuck No I didn't donate! You guys need to put on a show or do a bake sale or a fucking pledge drive. Why the hell would anyone donate and you don't give us the proper respect of letting us know what the actual f is really going on? This is just real talk so take it how you want but if you really need donations you need to let the people know what the money is for and how much you need.

I turned off my ad blocker on this site mad long ago and would click those shits every now then as my way of support and you don't even have ads running anymore. Who is really running this shit? Shout out to Goldie by the way.. I know dude was in the hospital and also had some kinda girl drama issue so hopefully dude is good but whoever is supposed to be second in command is SLIPPIN!

Holla at me if you need a cheap and stable hosting provider. Shit... move this shit to AWS and the shit is like 40 bucks a fucking month.
 
LOL. The fact is nobody likes uncertainty and unreliability and once you add in the fact that a lot of us are IC expats we know what it's like for a site to just go dark out of the blue over and over again.

But I don't just got problems... I got solutions. First and foremost, if bandwidth is an issue you need to stop hosting images on this site and get a CDN. Also you need to strip trackers out of the twitter links. Those shits aren't loading asynchronously so any page with mad twitter links (see the porn joints or the politics threads) will be mad slow.

The reactions are also a problem --- those you need to load locally (meaning on the server the the site is hosted on and not through a service). Wherever that code is hosted is is mad slow and images that small don't need to be outsourced anyway since once they're cached they'll just stay cached pretty much forever.

There's some other shit that could be tweaked and I'm willing to help so whoever's flying this ship just reach out to me.

I’ve already said why the site is acting up. People so busy tagging @AP21 like he got the solution when he don’t. No offense AP.

The site needs to be updated but only the owner can update the site. It don’t have nothing to do with donations or anything to do with money. It has everything to do with the owner being around to update the site. Right now, Goldie is out for his reasons and obviously it’s important since he hasn’t been around.

I am working on a solution to get it back running smoothly but right now we gotta deal with this or keep it pushing.
 
I think we need a place where we can get some updates on this site if the shit goes down.

Like if we come here and shit is down, where do we go to find a eta on when the shit is expected to get back?

It dont really gotta be said but ill say it.

This place isnt just a website, its a community.

Like nobody gives a fuck if Facebook, Twitter or instagram goes down.

But over here, the people posting here are here cause they like posting with this specific online community of people.

So people are rightfully worried when the site acts funny
