OPINION Best Fighting Game Series (Nomination Thread)

Im thinking of hosting a tournament of the best Fighting game series but for that to happen we need to have nominations.

So I think the best way to do it would be for everybody to nominate 3 for the tournament

I wish they rebooted Rival Schools or re released it on PSN

Yo I still play it religiously haha they need to give us a Capcom vs SNK 3

I was looking for news on a 3rd on like a year or so back. But I hear SNK is done with those pachislot machines or w/e and rebranded again and are looking to make comeback soon

I think Rival Schools has a valid claim at a top 20 spot.... Hell maybe even 10.

I was a big fan of the EX series.

Fatal fury/ KOF was dope, but impossible on a sega genesis 6 pad. Much easier to play with a stick on the PS4.


I wish I could say Virtua Fighter, but could never understand the mechanics beyond punching kicking and side stepping. Akira's moveset always intrigued me but also confused the absolute shit out of me.
